Identity Theft and Fraud…Are you protected?

By Levi

Think you’re not at risk? Unfortunately you are.

Just think about it.

* How many times have you handed your credit card to servers at restaurants?

* How many times have you signed your credit cards?

* How many times have you supplied personal information over the internet?

* How many times have you kept your Social Security number in your wallet or purse?

* How many times have you left your mail at your home or business for the postal carrier to collect?

* How many times have you shredded unwanted mail with personal information?

According to the Federal Trade Commission, there have been 27.3 million victims of identity theft in the last five years.

A professional thief can assume your identity in just a few hours, but it can take years for you to restore your credit standing and identity.

It affects not hundreds, not thousands, but millions each year. Symptoms can include harassment from debt collectors, maxed out credit cards, being subjected to criminal investigations or civil suits, being arrested, or difficulty with bank accounts. Identity Theft is a devastating crime that can take mere minutes to occur and years to resolve. Don’t wait until the unthinkable happens; arm yourself with  Identity Theft Shield.

Thankfully, your IDENTITY THEFT SHIELD gives you easy access to the resources you need to understand your credit ratings, and to fight back if an identity thief threatens your financial standings.

  1. Upon reading your post I realized that we are not really 100% protective. Thanks for sharing this one.

  2. David Miller says:

Identity theft is by far the most commonly committed crime in the U.S. As you have mentioned in all of the above points that the worst part is that we do not even know the time and place where our private information is compromised. Millions have fallen victims to the thefts. Thanks for creating further awareness.
